Spanish Defender Alvaro Gonzalez Wants to Play in Saudi Arabia
Former Al-Nassr defender, Alvaro Gonzalez, is interested in playing in Saudi Arabia again after terminating his contract with the club in the current summer transfer window of 2023.

Al-Nassr announced a few hours ago the departure of Spanish defender Alvaro Gonzalez from its ranks after just one season with the Riyadh Yellow team. Gonzalez left without activating the contract extension clause for another season, as Al-Nassr wanted to sign another player.
Gonzalez Offers Himself to Al-Shabab
Alvaro Gonzalez wants to continue playing in Saudi Arabia and has offered himself to Al-Shabab club hours ago, hoping to join the club during the upcoming transfers in June.
Gonzalez offered himself to Al-Shabab club, but he did not receive any response yet, and the club has not yet decided to officially sign him or consider other options, especially since they have Hassane Tembakti, who has multiple offers to leave.
Gonzalez had moved to Al-Nassr during the previous summer transfer period, in a free transfer deal from the French team Marseille.

Gonzalez played 22 matches in the Saudi Pro League last season with Al-Nassr, where he scored one goal and made 4 assists.
He successfully tackled eight times with an accuracy rate of 47.1%, made 67 passes, blocked the goalkeeper six times, and intercepted the ball 18 times. He also completed 1236 successful passes with an accuracy rate of 89.4%.
Gonzalez left because the management wanted to strengthen the first team with strong deals, as they entered into negotiations with more than one international player.
In other news, Al-Nassr’s first football team is close to finalizing a deal with Croatian player Marcelo Brozovic, the star midfielder of Inter Milan. They are also close to finalizing a deal with Hakim Ziyech, the star of Chelsea, with rumors linking the club to signing Yassine Bounou, the goalkeeper of Sevilla.
